How does it work?

After registering for the VIU Ambassador Programme, you will receive an email with your personal Ambassador Code. Share it with your loved ones and give them a 10% discount on their first purchase at VIU.
For every successful referral, we will send you a credit in the form of a 10% Reward Code. This will be emailed to you once the 30 day return period for glasses purchased using your Ambassador Code has expired.
Collect your 10% Reward Codes, as they can of course be combined with each other. So after 10 successful referrals, you can reward yourself with 100% free glasses.

My friend sent me their Ambassador code – how do I use it?

You can use the 10% Ambassador code your friend sent you in-store or at www.shopviu.com. You have to be new to VIU (sorry, no existing customers).

How long does my reward discount last?

All codes referring to the Ambassador Programme are valid without limitation.

And the small print… what else is there to consider?

We can’t pay your discount in cash. You can only use this discount for glasses, no package deals or accessories. If you’re a VIU Ambassador you can sign up 10 new customers. Friend or family? You can use your 10% Ambassador code for your first purchase of glasses. You can’t combine it with other vouchers or offers. Your reward codes can’t be transferred to anyone else. We can change the terms of the programme and you’ll find updates here. We can refuse your vouchers if we think you haven’t followed the VIU Ambassador Programme small print. You can’t send your Ambassador code to an alternative email address for an existing customer.

What is the Ambassador Special from 15.09-15.12.2023?

The Ambassador Special is a special promotion in the course of the VIU Ambassador Programme. For the successful recommendation of 3 new customers in the period from 15.09.-15.12.2023, Ambassadors will receive a free pair of sunglasses from the VIU Classic Acetate Collection of their choice worth 155€ (DE/AT) or 185 CHF (CH) including uncorrected lenses.

How can I participate in the Ambassador Special?

As a registered Ambassador, you will automatically participate in the Ambassador Special during the period 15.9-15.12.2023. In addition to 10% reward codes for each successful referral, you will receive a free pair of acetate sunglasses including uncorrected lenses for every 3 successful referrals during this period.

When will I receive my free acetate sunglasses?

VIU Ambassadors will be notified by email of their successful participation in the promotion as soon as 3 Ambassador Codes have been successfully redeemed by 3 new customers during the promotion period. VIU Ambassador codes are successfully redeemed when the return period of 30 days for the products purchased with them has elapsed. VIU Ambassadors who have successfully participated in the promotion will receive a voucher worth 155€ (DE/AT) or 185 CHF (CH) by E-mail. This voucher is valid for one pair of VIU Classic Acetate Collection sunglasses including uncorrected lenses.

When is a recommendation considered successful with regards to the Ambassador Special?

A recommendation is considered successful when the return period of 30 days for the products purchased with it by the referred new customers has elapsed.

What else do I need to know about the Ambassador Special?

The AMBASSADOR SPECIALS offer is only valid during the promotional period between 15.09. and 15.12.2023 and only while stocks last. Participation in the promotion is only possible once. More than 3 recommendations will not lead to the receipt of further vouchers for free sunglasses. Cash payment of the voucher code for free acetate sunglasses is excluded. During the period, you will continue to receive 10% Reward Codes for each successful redemption of your Ambassador Code. We reserve the right to change the terms and conditions of the Ambassador Special at any time.
