We started with a vision for your vision. When we were setting up the business in 2013, we made sure we were seeing things through our customer’s eyes. And we had some questions... Why are glasses either super cheap or excessively expensive? Why isn’t it possible to offer decent quality at a fair price? And why do the supply chains have to be so complex?

We’ve believed in making the eyewear industry more sustainable, transparent, efficient and fair for everyone all along.

VIU was built on that vision. We took the eyewear industry back to the basics and started from scratch. Those complex supply chains? We ditched them and decided to work directly with our manufacturers. We sell our products straight to our customers – at fair prices and without ever compromising on quality. And our understated designs are timeless.
