Corrective Lenses

A good lens not only improves your vision, but also provides you with a high degree of wearing comfort. That’s why we at VIU use nothing but plastic lenses that are lightweight, shatterproof and based on modern lens technology. For glasses with prescription lenses, you can choose between single-vision, relax and multifocal lenses and/or lenses for workplace glasses at VIU. And all of our prescription lenses are also available in versions for sunglasses.

Single-vision lenses

Single-vision lenses compensate for near- or farsightedness and astigmatism so you can see clearly at near or far distances. Although our single-vision lenses are available in various thin versions, for aesthetic reasons we always recommend the thinnest material possible.

Lenses for workplace glasses

If you spend a lot of time working at your computer and you want to be able to clearly see both your screen and your nearby surroundings, then these are the lenses for you. They provide harmonious and comfortable vision at near and intermediate distances – so you can work more efficiently and without eyestrain.

Multifocal lenses

Multifocal lenses are the perfect solution for people whose view of both close and distant objects is less than optimal. By compensating for the eyes’ diminished ability to focus, multifocal lenses enable their wearers to see clearly at all distances.

Relax lenses

If your eyes need help coping with digital media but multifocal glasses aren’t yet right for you, then relax lenses are the perfect choice. Thanks to slight additional strength in the lower part of the lens, they help your eyes to adapt better to different situations.
