To mark International Women's Day, we are launching a new beaded chain called “Berry Leaf.” The profits will go to Beads for Life Nepal, directly to programs for women and their families—flexibly and where they are most needed. A security fund will support women in emergency situations without them having to take out loans. Empowerment that works.

Our Beaded Chains are more than just eyeglass chains. They represent connection—between women across continents who share the same thing: respect for genuine craftsmanship. On International Women's Day, we are sending a conscious message with the Beaded Chain in Berry Leaf.

The glass beads used in our necklaces are carefully handcrafted in collaboration with the Beads for Life cooperative in Nepal. Each one is made by female artisans with patience, precision, and knowledge that has been passed down through generations.

This attitude does not end with the pearl. It lives on at VIU: in our designers, opticians, and experts behind the scenes. Women who work with the same clarity, care, and passion—day after day.
