Through development and extensive material testing, a wearable frame is created that brings product design into a new balance. The idea for the collaboration comes from the minds of VIU Creative Director Fabrice Aeberhard and ARMES Chief Designer Philippe Cuendet, both united by a clear vision of what they want to create together. After years of development and extensive material testing, a wearable frame emerges that sets product design into a new equilibrium. Driven by functionality, yet challenging conventional design standards.
The two frames «LUNETTES 01 & LUNETTES 02» are supplemented by a compatible futuristic leash that allows to carry the glasses as fashion-forward accessory. The distinctive Armes logo has been laser cut into the frame’s nose bridge, giving a subtle design nod to Armes streetwear heritage. Only 400 pieces were available worldwide, and each frame was engraved with its own unique production number.
