The sunglasses models were handcrafted from Eastman Acetate Renew in a traditional workshop in the Italian Dolomites. This innovative material redefines circularity in the eyewear industry and is the world’s first acetate composed of 96% organic and recycled components. By using Acetate Renew, the carbon footprint of each eyewear frame can be reduced by up to 30% compared to traditional acetate. The shared vision for the future sees sunglasses as a bold statement of belief and a visionary fusion of style and sustainability.

The limited-edition sunglasses, THE COMMITTED and THE CASUAL, from the VIU x The Slow Label collaboration embody the shared vision for sustainable and conscious consumption by VIU and The Slow Label.
